How Do I Get Stronger Emotionally? Build Resilience.

Resilience strengthens with every brave step you take. - Rich Lombino, Therapist & Lawyer
We’ve all experienced challenges in our lives. Some are small and we get through them quickly, such as brief anxiety during the day. Others are greater and we experience them for weeks, months or even years such as depression. The greater the obstacle, typically the greater the effort to overcome it. You may ask yourself in tough times how you can get stronger emotionally. The answer is to build resilience.
Resilience strengthens with every brave step you take. As we push back against the challenges we face, something inside us grows stronger and we are better able to cope. This is the essence of resilience. Start small with little steps to chip away at the obstacle, make progress, gain momentum, build emotional resilience and become stronger. The next time difficulty comes around, you’ll be better prepared to face it.

If you’d like to learn more about building resilience or other ways to improve your mental health, contact me for a free consultation. Take care and be well. - Rich Lombino, Therapist & Lawye
