ARE VIDEO OR PHONE THERAPY RIGHT FOR ME?
Do you have a busy schedule? We can make it work so you can get the support you need when you need it. Even from the comfort of your home.
When I have my first conversation with potential clients, initially we discuss what’s going on in their lives and why they're seeking assistance. Once we feel that working together would be a good fit, I introduce them to the different forms of treatment I provide. The treatments all have the same goals, but are specialized depending on each person. |
Traditionally, mental health treatment is going to the therapist's office. But what if the you have a busy work and/or home life schedule? What if you want more flexibility? There’s an answer for all those questions, and it’s available in my practice: video therapy and phone therapy.
Video therapy and phone therapy (also known as telehealth or telemedicine) is a method of treatment where the therapist has a session by video or phone with a client. Clients can be anywhere they are comfortable, and it’s recommended they choose a quiet, private space for the session. You want somewhere you can talk about sensitive topics without having to be concerned about others hearing your conversation.
In addition to the convenience of receiving treatment where you want, I’m also able to provide extended hours, which also results in more flexibility for you. For example, if my typical office hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, I could have a session at 8:00am or 6:00pm by video or phone. For most of my clients, either receiving therapy services solely or sometimes by video or phone provides them with the flexibility they need to consistently work on their goals without worrying about having to significantly adjust their schedule. |
